From a young age, I have immersed myself in the world of art, drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Self-taught in the mediums of watercolors and oils since childhood, I spent countless hours doodling and sketching. My early fascination led me to cover the walls of my art space with cutouts of facial features, hands, and feet from magazines, dedicated to mastering the nuances of human anatomy and expression.

My journey continued into college, where I pursued a dual Bachelor's degree in art and math teaching from the University of Utah. While my early works centered on human figures, my artistic exploration evolved toward abstract and geometric pieces, though I still delight in creating colorful portraits on occasion.

By day, I ignite young minds as a 7th grade math teacher, which infuses my work with a distinct blend of mathematical rigor and creative intuition. Harnessing watercolor, acrylics, ink, marker, and gel pens, I breathe life into dynamic compositions on paper, canvas, and panel. Inspired by the awe-inspiring beauty of microscopic images, the crystalline facets of ice formations, the rugged textures of stone, and the fluid grace of brush strokes, my abstract pieces resonate with a harmonious fusion of organic inspiration and geometric precision. Sacred geometry and the mesmerizing Archimedean tiling captivate my geometric works, mainly crafted with the humble tools of a simple compass and the clean edge of a straight line.
